The Banzai Racing Intercooler Support is designed to directly replace the OEM part. It has accommodations for all the OEM brackets and clips. With the popularity of the V-mount intercooler setup and the age of the original steel part we decided to design a better support for the FD. Most people that have an FMIC are simply missing this part. 

Our Intercooler Support is fabricated from 16 ga Stainless Steel, with four welded gussets for additional strength.
