Please read and follow instructions carefully to ensure correct installation

Procedure

  1. Using 12mm Socket, remove 4 x bolts
  2. Remove shifter housing assembly
  3. Carefully remove plastic shifter bushing from bottom of shifter (Installation #4)
  4. Install plastic shifter bushing on new short shifter as pictured (Installation #5)
  5. Clean all RTV and oil off transmission mating surface
  6. Apply thin layer of RTV on bottom of new Short Shifter
  7. Install short shifter ensuring that you align the bushing correctly
  8. Using 6mm Allen wrench, install 4 supplied Allen head bolts and washers (Installation #6)
  9. Verify shifter movement
